Light wind performance sails (code zero + gennaker)

Optional · Feeling the dynamic power of even the (light) wind and still being able to control these large sails easily. This works perfectly with the trimaran. Both light-wind sails are used on the 1.90 m bowsprit. The trimaran's trampolines really come into their own when it comes to handling. The sails can be trimmed to your heart's content thanks to the ingenious sheeting system and the support of the barber haulers. The stable position of the trimaran gives a wonderful feeling of absolute ease of control. The asymmetric gennaker with 80m² and easy handling with recovery tube is ideal in light to medium winds from aft. Due to the width of the trimaran, the gennaker can also be flattened upwind very effectively and with unimagined fun using a barber hauler. The 45m² Code Zero with flying furler delivers what it promises. In light winds from 2-3 knots and mirror-smooth water, it propels the boat upwind to unimagined speeds. We often sail faster than the actual wind. Other sailors are still using the motor here.

Optional · Option for experienced/certified DRAGONFLY 28 skippers. Recommended at the beginning of a bareboat charter to refresh the special procedures on the trimaran. The light wind performance sails are included in this option. Catering for the trainer is included as well as mooring fees, fuel, water and electricity for the mooring in the home marina.
Trainer per day (Trimaran training)

Optional · 3 days compulsory for skippers sailing a Dragonfly trimaran for the first time. May also be booked as pure trimaran training (3 days bareboat + 3 days trainer option). In-depth and basic introduction to the handling of the Dragonfly 28 trimaran. Preparation for departure, engine handling, harbor maneuvers, folding and unfolding, safe sail handling, reefing, code zero and gennaker, anchoring, preparation for entry and safe docking in the harbor are practiced from scratch. The aim is for the skipper and his crew to get to know this boat, to be able to push it to its limits and thus experience maximum sailing pleasure. The training starts each day at the home base and returns there. Mooring fees, fuel, water and electricity are included, as well as meals and hotel accommodation for the coach. The light wind sails are also included in this option.
