Three pillars

A Charter Intelligence OS, not another yacht database.

Capabilities below are labelled live or planned. Live items exist in the current broker and fleet desks. Planned items belong to the longer CharterOS vision and are not claimed as production features.

01

Verified

Availability, rates and yacht facts stay labelled by source and confidence. A calendar gap is not treated as a confirmed week.

02

Intelligent

Brief-led ranking explains fit, conflicts and unknowns. Near-price alternatives sit beside the lead yacht when the client may flex.

03

Actionable

The same shortlist becomes a proposal, a structured availability request and a deal record. The broker does not rebuild the file in a second tool.

01 · Brief

Capture the client once.

The brief is the working object. Dates, party, budget, cabins, destinations, must-haves and exclusions stay attached to the original wording so search does not start from empty filters.

  1. 01

    Structured charter brief

    Live

Dates, destination, guests, budget, cabin relationships, preferences, must-haves, exclusions and the source enquiry remain on one record.

  2. 02

    Full-text brief intake

    Live

Paste the client email or notes. The desk extracts the working constraints instead of asking the broker to rebuild every field by hand.

  3. 03

    Hard constraints versus preferences

    Live

Must-haves can be distinguished from softer wishes so a visually attractive yacht does not silently outrank one that cannot perform the charter.

  4. 04

    Organisation-private client context

    Live

Client identity and relationship notes stay inside the authorised brokerage. They are not written onto the shared yacht record.

02 · Match

Rank the listed fleet against this brief.

Search is an input to advice. Each candidate should show why it fits, what still needs confirmation, and which nearby yachts sit close in weekly rate.

  1. 01

    Brief-led AI fleet search

    Live

The listed fleet is ranked from the active brief. Destination, dates, guests, budget and must-haves remain inspectable on the result.

  2. 02

    Explainable ranking

    Live

Fit reasons, hard conflicts, warnings and unknowns are visible. A score is not presented as sufficient evidence on its own.

  3. 03

    Near-price alternatives

    Live

When a lead yacht is right but the weekly rate is tight, neighbouring boats in a similar price band are surfaced so the broker can offer a real choice.

  4. 04

    Shortlists and comparison

    Live

Focused shortlists compare cabins, size, amenities, itinerary fit, commercial assumptions and confirmation state in one table.

  5. 05

    Match-run history

    Live

Sourcing decisions can be reviewed later: why a yacht was ranked, warned or excluded for a specific brief.

03 · Availability

Treat confirmation as a professional state, not a colour on a calendar.

A blank week is a starting hypothesis. Availability becomes useful only when an authorised party answers a scoped, time-bound request.

  1. 01

    Availability states with confidence

    Live

Requested, held, second option, confirmed, declined and expired remain distinct. A calendar gap is never labelled confirmed by default.

  2. 02

    Structured broker requests

    Live

Dates, party and route context can be sent without automatically exposing the client name to the yacht side.

  3. 03

    Central-agent response inbox

    Live

Fleet users answer with constrained states and keep expiry visible instead of leaving status in a private inbox thread.

  4. 04

    Industry-wide real-time operator mesh

    Planned

A transactional network that confirms luxury crewed inventory the way a bareboat booking engine confirms a week is not claimed as live.

04 · Cost

Show total-cost ranges, labelled as estimates.

The advertised weekly rate is one layer. APA, tax, delivery, fuel and berthing can move the planning range before the client anchors on a headline number.

  1. 01

    Layered cost ranges

    Live

Weekly fee, APA, VAT or tax assumption, delivery and extras stay visible as expected and planning-range values — not one invented all-in invoice.

  2. 02

    Estimate versus quote

    Live

Planning figures are labelled as estimates. Confirmed commercial terms replace assumptions when the authorised representative and contract provide them.

  3. 03

    Route-sensitive operating assumptions

    Live

Fuel and operational sensitivity can sit beside the yacht and intended itinerary rather than in a generic calculator tab.

  4. 04

    Automated invoicing and commission settlement

    Planned

Operator accounting, automated invoices and commission payouts are not part of the live product. Deal amounts remain desk records.

05 · Itinerary

Test whether this yacht can perform this week.

Distance alone is not feasibility. Guest pace, yacht characteristics and operational constraints belong in the same conversation as the shortlist.

  1. 01

    Yacht-specific sample itineraries

    Live

A guest-pace sample week can be generated for the matched yacht and destination and attached to the proposal.

  2. 02

    Itinerary feasibility

    Live

Impractical combinations of yacht, dates and intended route can be flagged before the client sees a polished map.

  3. 03

Port, berth, weather and aviation intelligence

    Planned

Live berth, weather, clearance and transfer feeds are part of the longer CharterOS vision. They are not claimed as current production coverage.

06 · Proposal and deal

Present the shortlist. Keep the evidence attached.

The proposal is a snapshot of the same decision, not a rebuilt brochure. Option, contract and payment milestones stay on the opportunity as professional records.

  1. 01

    Proposal from the shortlist

    Live

Create a client-safe share from the ranked yachts, weekly rate context, APA and tax assumptions, and sample itinerary without re-keying the brief.

  2. 02

    Secure client sharing

    Live

Opaque, expiring, revocable links expose only client-safe material. Broker notes and central-agent contacts stay off the client view.

  3. 03

    Immutable proposal versions

    Live

What the client saw is retained as a historical snapshot when later yacht facts change.

  4. 04

    Deal milestones

    Live

Option, contract evidence, payment notes and booking state can be recorded on the opportunity. The platform does not hold charter funds.

  5. 05

Escrow, card capture and fund custody

    Planned

Charter deposits, stakeholder accounts and payment-processor checkout for the charter itself are not implemented.

07 · Fleet and central agent

Publish the yacht once. Answer qualified demand.

Central agents, charter managers and owners control official listings, calendars and rates. They do not receive automatic access to a broker’s client file.

  1. 01

    Published listings and rate cards

    Live

Structured specifications, galleries, rate windows and offers can be maintained by the party entitled to publish them.

  2. 02

    Calendar and request inbox

    Live

Fleet users keep operational blocks current and answer structured broker requests from one workspace.

  3. 03

    Source-aware intake

    Live

PDFs, listing URLs and manual entries retain submitter context. Missing values are flagged rather than invented.

  4. 04

    Demand without client names

    Live

Fleet users can see structured demand context. Client identity is not automatically exposed.

  5. 05

Website widgets and public MLS distribution

    Planned

Embeddable consumer inventory and association-grade public feeds are not claimed as live product surfaces.

08 · Platform principles

What the product refuses to fake.

These rules apply whether a capability is live or still planned. They are product constraints, not marketing slogans.

  1. 01

    Provenance on facts

    Live

A supplied rate sheet, an imported field and a broker inspection note do not carry the same authority.

  2. 02

    Unknown stays unknown

    Live

Missing cabin, rate or availability data is not converted into zero, no, or unavailable.

  3. 03

Broker-private notes versus shared yacht facts

    Live

Inspection notes and suitability judgement stay organisation-private. They do not contaminate the shared yacht record.

  4. 04

    Organisation isolation

    Live

Workspaces are authenticated and organisation-scoped. Public pages do not expose the operating portal.

  5. 05

    Founding professional access

    Live

Eligible broker and fleet desks registered by 30 September 2026 stay free. The Broker API at €250 per month is not waived. Live broker software prices are €29, €69 and €119 per month before tax.

  6. 06

    Outcome-learning Yacht Experience Graph

    Planned

A permission-aware graph that improves ranking after every verified booking and post-charter review is the longer platform vision, not a current live claim.

Out of scope

The specification is equally clear about what this is not.

  • A public marketplace that lets consumers book crewed yachts without a broker.
  • Custody of charter funds, escrow, or a payment processor for the charter itself.
  • Complete owner accounting, crew payroll or technical yacht management.
  • A guarantee that displayed availability, price, tax or berth information will remain unchanged.
  • Replacement of MYBA, CYBA or any other professional association.

Commercial prices remain those published on /pricing. Eligible broker and fleet desks registered by 30 September 2026 stay free. The Broker API at €250 per month is not waived. Specification reviewed August 2026.
