Pallas is a 27-metre traditional wooden Turkish caicco (gulet), rigged as a two-masted schooner and run by Kaikko Tropea from Tropea on Calabria's Costa degli Dei, with weekly cruises to the Aeolian Islands. With a 6.5 m beam she offers five double or twin guest cabins for 12 guests, each with private bathroom with shower and WC and individually controlled air conditioning and heating (a sixth cabin is available on request), plus a large saloon with reading and TV corners. Outside, a shaded aft deck with dining table leads down to the swim platform, while the foredeck holds a vast sunbathing area with 12 sunbeds. A crew of four (skipper, cook, hostess/steward and sailor) looks after guests, with a 5.1 m tender for shore excursions and transfers around the clock. She is fully self-sufficient: 4,000 l of fuel (around 25 hours of navigation), 5,000 l of fresh water plus a watermaker, a large generator, ducted climate control, Wi-Fi and a bar open 24 hours. A 400 hp Yanmar engine gives a cruising speed of 7.5 knots. SUPs and snorkelling gear are included. Weekly charter only; shorter periods on request subject to availability.
